When did you first start to work with Walton Endurance?
I contacted Brian in 2010 after speaking with some of Washington, DC's talented racers in search of my first coach.

What was keeping you from working with a coach or structured training plan?
I re-discovered cycling during college when I was injured and used the bike as my rehabilitation. It wasn't until after college that I started riding consistently and fell into racing (2007). I was training/riding on my own and coming up through the ranks from a category 4 to a category 1. By the time I reached category 1, I was super hooked and wanted to find out how I could develop as a racer at the next level in the domestic pro women's circuit. At that time, I contacted Brian and asked him if he would coach me to the next level. He did. Over the past four years I have consistently developed into a stronger and faster racer which opened doors for me in the women's National Criterium Calendar (NCC) circuit as I race for a pro women's crit team and have made it on the podium. Brian is a very wise and honest coach with a relaxed attitude. His approach works well for me! The Walton Endurance team of coaches are fantastic and they offer a great deal of knowledge and experience!

How has Walton Endurance helped your fitness/performance on the bike?
WE gives me the tools to succeed. I have developed from a mediocre category 1 crit racer into a strong domestique for a domestic pro women's team.

How has Walton Endurance helped you personally and/or professionally?
I could go on for days here but I will try to limit myself. Brian and Dana are coaches, mentors, and friends. Off the bike, when my job got really tough over the past year and half, Brian always offered great advice and would talk me through tough situations to help me regain balance--something for which I am very grateful. My workouts were tailored to meet my time constraints and in the end I was still able to pull off some of the best fitness I have ever had and experience racing with the best women's crit team as well as traveling to Argentina for my first UCI stage race. As a full time professional, it has taken a long time for me to really seek and find balance in my job, but Brian's consistent words of wisdom are always echoing through my head which not only impacts me but the people I work with. Walton Endurance is a first class business which I am so proud to be part of.

What do you like most about working with Brian, Dana and Walton Endurance?
If my previous responses didn't say enough, Brian and Dana are classy, hard working people with great attitudes and excuses are not tolerated!

Would you recommend others work with Walton Endurance and why, specifically?
Absolutely! At Walton Endurance clients are unique individuals with unique coaching needs and Walton Endurance caters to those needs. The investment that you, as a client, put into your coaching plan is matched by Walton Endurance. Client success is valued whether it is a small victory or a huge feat.
